Amman, Jordan – The Jordanian Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission confirmed that air traffic at all airports in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan is operating normally and regularly, without any disruptions or restrictions on airspace use. The Commission also denied reports circulating on some social media platforms regarding closures or disruptions affecting air navigation.

The Commission clarified that takeoffs and landings at Queen Alia International Airport and all other airports in the Kingdom are proceeding smoothly and according to pre-approved schedules. It also affirmed the ongoing coordination among relevant authorities to ensure the highest levels of air safety.

The authority added that the air traffic control and navigation services are operating efficiently around the clock, closely monitoring any regional developments that may affect air traffic. It also confirmed that Jordanian airspace remains open to commercial and civilian flights without any changes to the current operational status.

The authority stressed the importance of not being misled by rumors or inaccurate information circulating on social media. It urged citizens and media outlets to rely solely on official statements issued by the relevant authorities as the reliable source of information.

In closing, the authority affirmed that it will immediately announce any developments or updates regarding air traffic or airspace use through official and approved channels. This is to ensure the timely dissemination of accurate information.
