Madrid, Spain – Spanish club FC Barcelona announced today the renewal of the contract of Egyptian forward Hamza Abdel-Karim, keeping him with the Catalan team until the summer of 2030.
Barcelona confirmed in an official statement that the club has reached an agreement with the Egyptian national team star to extend his contract, with the player set to remain with the team until June 30, 2030.
The club announced that the signing ceremony for the new contract will take place on September 15 at 5:00 PM Central European Summer Time, in the office of Barcelona president Joan Laporta.
Barcelona indicated that Hamza Abdelkarim will hold a session with the media at the club’s commercial office following the official signing of the contracts.
Barcelona signed Abdelkarim on a permanent basis during the most recent summer transfer window, acquiring him from Al Ahly after he had spent the previous season with the Catalan side on loan from the “Red Castle”.
