Abu Dhabi, UAE – Al Wahda secured a valuable 1-0 victory over hosts Al Dhafra. The match took place on Sunday evening at Hamdan Bin Zayed Stadium, as part of the fourth round of the ADNOC Pro League.
The first half was evenly matched in terms of chances, despite Al Wahda’s dominance in possession, controlling the ball for over 66% of the time. However, they failed to create any significant scoring opportunities against the home side.
Al Dhafra improved their performance at the start of the second half, but Al Wahda maintained their composure and managed to secure the victory before the final whistle. Facundo Daniel scored the winning goal in the 81st minute, giving his team three valuable points.
