Moscow, Russia – The Russian Defense Ministry announced that its forces launched drone strikes during the day targeting a dry cargo ship in the Black Sea, which it claimed was carrying military equipment supplied to the Ukrainian Armed Forces from Western nations.

The ministry stated that Russian drones struck the vessel transporting military hardware intended for Ukrainian forces, without providing specific details regarding the exact location of the ship or the extent of damage sustained. Striking Logistics Centers in Odesa
The Russian Defense Ministry added that its forces targeted two logistics centers belonging to the Ukrainian military in Mykolaiv and Dachne in the Odesa region, utilizing “Geran-4 Seeker” drones. The ministry affirmed that objective monitoring confirmed successful strikes, noting that the targeted facilities were linked to Ukrainian military logistics infrastructure.
New Capabilities for Russian Drones
The Defense Ministry explained that the “Geran-4 Seeker” drones used in the attacks feature a modern electro-optical guidance system, enabling them to independently adjust flight paths prior to reaching targets. According to the ministry, this technology provides the drones with enhanced capability to acquire targets and maintain guidance during terminal attack phases, boosting strike precision amid ongoing clashes and continued Western military aid to Kyiv.
