Today, Monday, the friendly matches played by the clubs in preparation for the start of the new 2026-2027 football season continue, in addition to the start of the English League Cup competitions.
All eyes are on the friendly match between Saudi Arabia’s Al-Hilal and Qatar’s Al-Ahli, in a test through which both teams seek to raise their technical and physical readiness before the start of the official season.
The Saudi youth team will also play a friendly match against Mouloudia Club of Algeria as part of their summer preparation program. This is part of the coaching staff’s efforts to prepare the players and get them into top form before the start of the competitions.
On the official competition front, the English League Cup tournament kicks off with a match between Burke City and Crawley Town, in the first game of the new edition of the tournament.
