Washington, DC – CNN, citing informed US officials, revealed that the US military is considering a range of unconventional options and ideas to punish Iran. This is part of a comprehensive review of military and security policies aimed at increasing pressure on Tehran and curbing its regional activities.

According to the report, discussions within the US military establishment are not limited to traditional measures. They also include new alternatives aimed at strengthening deterrence and weakening Iranian capabilities. This includes the use of military, security, or logistical tools. Meanwhile, there is a focus on avoiding a full-blown military confrontation in the region.

Officials indicated that these options are still under consideration and no final decision has been made regarding their implementation. They also confirmed that the US administration continues to assess various scenarios in coordination with the Department of Defense and security agencies. This is being done in light of the rapidly evolving situation in the Middle East.

These moves come amid ongoing tensions between Washington and Tehran. The United States maintains that it will continue to protect its interests, forces, and allies. Furthermore, it will keep all options open. This approach addresses any threats that may affect the security of the region or US forces.
