California, USA – Iran and New Zealand shared the points after a 2-2 draw in their match on Tuesday morning at Sophie Stadium, in the first round of Group G in the 2026 World Cup.
The New Zealand team started the match strongly and succeeded in opening the scoring early through Elijah Just in the seventh minute, taking advantage of his team’s attacking start.
