Rome, Italy – Inter Milan continued their exceptional season, winning the Coppa Italia for the tenth time in their history. This came after their 2-0 victory over Lazio in the final match held Wednesday evening at the Stadio Olimpico.
Inter Milan secured their third domestic double in history, winning both the league and cup titles. This achievement mirrors their successes in the 2006 and 2010 seasons, further cementing their dominance in Italian football this season.
Lazio opened the scoring with an own goal, after defender Adam Marusic turned the ball into his own net in the 14th minute. Before captain Lautaro Martinez strengthened the Nerazzurri’s lead with the second goal in the 38th minute.

With this victory, Inter Milan solidified their position as the second most successful club in the Coppa Italia with 10 titles, trailing only Juventus, who hold the record with 15. The team also ended a three-year drought in the competition, their last triumph coming in 2013.
