Tel Aviv, Israel – In one of the largest military logistical support operations, the Israeli Ministry of Defense announced the arrival of a massive 6,500-ton shipment of American military equipment and ammunition. This shipment arrived in just 24 hours as part of the ongoing “air and sea bridge” to bolster the operational capabilities of the Israeli military.
Logistical coordination between sea and air
The ministry statement explained that these massive shipments were transported via multiple routes to ensure speed and efficiency. Two giant naval vessels were used, along with several heavy military transport aircraft. The ships docked at the strategic ports of Ashdod and Haifa. Technical and logistical teams immediately began unloading and distributing the cargo.
Tactical equipment and high-quality ammunition
According to details released by the Ministry of Defense, the recent shipments included not only conventional ammunition but also a diverse arsenal of equipment supporting field operations, most notably large quantities of air and ground munitions.
The shipment included military trucks designed for heavy transport and supply, and light tactical vehicles (JLTVs) known for their high maneuverability in challenging combat environments. It also included other logistical and technical equipment to support the continuity of military operations.
Strengthening preparedness amid regional escalation
This move comes under the direct supervision of the Director General of the Ministry of Defense, Major General (Res.) Amir Baram, and in coordination with the Directorate of Defense Acquisition and the Ministry’s mission in the United States.
According to press reports, these shipments are part of a central effort to raise the readiness level of the Israeli army. The goal is to confront any potential developments on various fronts.
Official data indicates that Israel has received more than 115,600 tons of military equipment since the start of the latest escalation. This equipment arrived via hundreds of flights and numerous sea shipments. This reflects the depth of the strategic military partnership between Washington and Tel Aviv under the current circumstances in the region.
