Abu Dhabi, UAE – Several rulers of the UAE sent messages of condolence to Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Emir of Qatar.

In their messages, they expressed their deepest condolences and sympathies for the victims of the accident

that occurred at a factory in the Ras Laffan Industrial Area. The accident resulted in fatalities and injuries.

Condolence messages from the rulers of the Emirates

Condolence messages were sent by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Ruler of Sharjah;

His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Ruler of Ajman;

His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Ruler of Fujairah; His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla, Ruler of Umm Al Quwain;

and His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah.

In their messages, the rulers affirmed their solidarity with the State of Qatar during this difficult time.

They also expressed their sincere condolences to the families of the victims and wished a speedy recovery to all those injured in the incident.

Crown Princes participate in offering condolences

The Crown Princes and Deputy Rulers of the Emirates also sent similar telegrams of condolence to the Emir of Qatar.

They expressed their sympathy to the families of the victims. They also affirmed their wishes for recovery for the injured.

These messages come within the framework of the fraternal relations between the UAE and the State of Qatar.

It also confirms the keenness of both sides to strengthen the bonds of cooperation and solidarity in various circumstances.

Continued Emirati solidarity

Messages of solidarity from the UAE to Qatar continued following the incident.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, had previously sent a cable of condolences to the Emir of Qatar.

He also made a phone call expressing his condolences to the victims.

Through these calls and messages, the UAE leadership affirmed its support for Qatar.

They also expressed their wishes for a speedy recovery for the injured and for mercy upon the deceased.

Meanwhile, the relevant Qatari authorities are monitoring the repercussions of the incident and investigating its causes and circumstances.
