Tehran, Iran – Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said on Sunday that the latest round of negotiations with the United States had yielded encouraging signs. He noted that his country continues to closely monitor American actions.

Pezeshkian added in a post on the X platform that Iran has “made all the necessary preparations for any possible scenario.” This comes as talks continue between Tehran and Washington aimed at reaching a potential nuclear agreement.

context of the negotiations

The Iranian president’s remarks come at a time when Iran is trying to manage its tensions with the United States. Both sides are seeking to define practical steps to ensure the continuation of nuclear talks. This also comes amid a continued US military buildup near the region, as part of monitoring the strategic and security situation.

Tehran’s aspirations

Pezeshkian affirmed that his country is prepared for all eventualities and is closely monitoring developments in the negotiations. He also emphasized that the encouraging results indicate the possibility of gradual progress if the dialogue continues on its current course.
