  • US military movements

Washington, USA – The Wall Street Journal quoted informed sources as saying that Iran strongly objected to the conditions put forward

by the United States within the framework of the indirect contacts taking place between the two sides.

She warned that any potential US military action could lead to a large-scale escalation in the region,

and make multiple targets “legitimate targets” for Iranian retaliation.

Crossing Iranian red lines

According to the newspaper, Tehran considered the American demands, which relate to its nuclear file, its missile program and its regional behavior,

This represents a crossing of Iranian red lines and cannot be accepted as a basis for any new agreement or understanding.

The sources confirmed that Iranian officials conveyed clear messages through diplomatic channels.

And the implication is that pressure and threats to use force will

only complicate the situation and increase the likelihood of confrontation.

The Wall Street Journal noted that the Iranian warnings included hints

at the possibility of targeting American or Washington-allied interests in various parts of the Middle East.

This is in the event that the United States carries out a military strike against Iran or its vital facilities.

According to the sources, Tehran considered that any attack would be met

with a “broad and painful” response, which could affect more than one arena at the same time.

US military movements

This escalation in Iranian rhetoric comes amid growing tensions in the region,

against the backdrop of stalled diplomatic efforts.

The exchange of warning messages between Tehran and Washington, along with the continuation of US sanctions against Iran.

This also coincides with US military movements in the region, and mutual maneuvers

and warnings that reflect the fragility of the security situation.

In contrast, the US administration, according to the Wall Street Journal, insists that it still prefers diplomatic solutions.

But at the same time, it emphasizes that it will not allow Iran to possess a nuclear weapon.

All options remain on the table to protect American interests and those of its allies.

Observers believe that the recent Iranian warnings represent a direct deterrent message,

aimed at raising the cost of any potential US military decision.

This comes at a time when the international community is watching closely to see the consequences of this escalation and its impact on the stability of the Middle East.
