The filly “RB Burn the Bell”, descended from “Majd Al Arab × RB Phil the Burn bint Sand Blast”, was able to present a strong and distinctive performance. To impose its presence in one of the strongest stations of the tournament, and confirm its worthiness of the title after a confrontation that brought together the elite of purebred Arabian horses in Italy and Europe.
The champion belongs to owner Mohamed Abdel Latif Al-Hazami, under the supervision of coach François Roho, and led by jockey Michael Forrest. It covered the race distance of 2100 sandy meters in a time of 02:22:1 minutes. In the race, which was held in the first category for horses aged four years and above, and whose prizes amounted to 300,000 euros.
“Lino”, who is a descendant of “AF Al-Bahr × Azza Bint Karbala”, came in second place.
Al-Zir, who is a descendant of Al-Ma’mun Monlu × Asma Al-Khalidiya bint Amer, came in third place, in a race characterized by strength and competition until the finish line.
The victory of the filly “RB Burn the Bell” is added to the record of champions of the Italy station, which over the past years has witnessed the crowning of an elite group of prominent names.
