Barbin noted that he had previously lodged a protest regarding a similar incident in August 2025, when a Danish Air Force helicopter flew at low altitude over the large Russian anti-submarine ship “Vice-Admiral Kulakov”.
He added that the flight involved a risk of collision and could have interfered with the Russian ship’s equipment, noting that the helicopter did not make radio contact and did not respond to warnings at the time.
