Dubai, UAE – The Dubai Chamber of Commerce, one of the three chambers operating under the umbrella of the Dubai Chambers, discussed during the third quarterly meeting of business groups and councils for the year 2026. Held in the presence of 80 representatives of business groups and councils, the latest developments in efforts to support the growth of the private sector and enhance the competitiveness of the business environment in Dubai.
The Chamber reviewed the latest programs and services aimed at supporting the interests of the business community. In addition to initiatives that contribute to stimulating companies to expand and grow across various sectors.
Participants discussed prospects for enhancing coordination between business groups and councils, and expanding partnerships with relevant authorities.
The meeting highlighted the “Agentic AI” transition program for the private sector in Dubai, which is supervised by the Dubai Chambers. Reviewing the specialized training tracks recently launched by the chambers to empower and train 14,000 companies that are members of the business groups and councils affiliated with the Dubai Chamber of Commerce. To employ auxiliary artificial intelligence technologies within its administrative and operational processes.
The meeting discussed mechanisms for improving the performance of business groups and councils and enhancing their contribution to supporting the private sector and developing the business environment. The importance of knowledge exchange and cooperation in creating new opportunities for companies and strengthening partnerships between the public and private sectors.
The Dubai Chamber of Commerce, in cooperation with business groups, reviewed 42 laws and draft laws during the first half, with an annual growth of approximately 56%. While the adoption rate of private sector recommendations reached 73%, compared to 60% during the first half of 2025.
The meeting included members of the groups and councils supervised by the Chamber, who represent a wide segment of private sector companies in Dubai. Including business groups representing various economic sectors, and business councils concerned with representing the nationalities of investors.
