Beijing, China – The Chinese Foreign Minister affirmed that his country is ready to strengthen cooperation with Sweden at all levels, as part of Beijing’s commitment to developing its bilateral relations with European countries. During a meeting with his Swedish counterpart, the minister explained that China attaches great importance to its relations with Sweden. He affirmed China’s support for expanding dialogue and coordination between the two countries to serve their mutual interests. He also stressed Beijing’s readiness to enhance cooperation in various sectors, including trade, investment, innovation, and sustainable development.
He noted that his country looks forward to maintaining effective communication channels and intensifying high-level exchanges. He also emphasized the importance of joint efforts to address international challenges, contributing to regional and international stability and development.
For its part, the Swedish side stressed the importance of continuing dialogue with China and strengthening cooperation based on mutual respect and shared interests. It expressed its country’s desire to expand economic and trade cooperation and bolster bilateral relations to serve the interests of both peoples.
