Kuwait – The State of Kuwait expressed its deepest condolences and sincere sympathy to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, for the victims of the Saudi Aramco helicopter crash, which resulted in the martyrdom of a number of employees, affirming its full solidarity with the Kingdom in this tragic loss.
In an official statement, the Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed Kuwait’s support for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, its leadership, government, and people. It also expressed its condolences to the families of the victims and wished the injured a speedy recovery and a safe return to their work.
Kuwait emphasized that the deep-rooted fraternal relations between the two countries reflect the profound solidarity and cooperation in facing various circumstances. It also affirmed its confidence in the Kingdom’s ability to overcome the effects of this incident, given its capabilities and experience in dealing with such events.
Furthermore, Kuwait expressed its wishes that God Almighty grant the martyrs His abundant mercy and admit them to Paradise, and that He grant the injured a speedy recovery. It also prayed that God grant the families of the victims patience and solace.
Kuwait’s stance comes amidst a wave of statements of condolence and solidarity issued by several Arab and Islamic countries following the Aramco helicopter crash. This affirms solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia during this difficult time and acknowledges its efforts to ensure the safety of workers in various vital sectors.
