Tel Aviv, Israel – The Israeli Chief of Staff affirmed his country’s commitment to the framework agreement signed with Lebanon.

He affirmed that the army will continue to operate according to
the agreed-upon mechanisms to ensure the agreement’s implementation on the ground.
Supporting efforts aimed at stability
He pointed out that the Israeli army will do what is necessary to make the agreement a success,
as part of the efforts aimed at enhancing stability on the border between the two sides.
He also expressed his commitment to the procedures included in the agreement.

The Israeli Chief of Staff explained that the Israeli forces will continue to follow developments on the ground.
