Beirut, Lebanon – Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam affirmed that the framework agreement aims to achieve a complete Israeli withdrawal from all Lebanese territory.

He considers this a fundamental step towards establishing stability and strengthening state sovereignty over all its lands.

End any Israeli military presence

The Lebanese Prime Minister explained, in statements carried by Lebanon media,

that the agreement represents a framework for joint action with the relevant

parties to implement the agreed-upon commitments.

It also guarantees the end of any Israeli military presence within Lebanese territory,

while adhering to relevant international resolutions.

The Lebanese Prime Minister stressed that Beirut is committed to its national and sovereign rights,

and that any political or security path must lead to the complete restoration of Lebanon territory.

In parallel, security and stability must be strengthened on the southern

border to safeguard Lebanon’s interests and the safety of its citizens.
