Dubai – United Arab Emirates — The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) in the United Arab Emirates has firmly and categorically confirmed that zero cases of the deadly Ebola virus have been registered or detected within the country’s territories. The ministry emphasized in an official statement that specialized health authorities and containment regulatory bodies continue to screen and monitor all global health updates. Importantly, this is done under maximum operational readiness metrics and sustained epidemiological surveillance frameworks to isolate public health from cross-border threats.

Integrated Response System and Rigorous Tracking of an International Traveler

The ministry clarified that the UAE systematically maintains advanced benchmarks and robust logistical infrastructures engineered for immediate responses to complex public health emergencies. Furthermore, this capacity is sustained via an integrated, multi-tiered preventative architecture for early detection and rapid deployment. It operates in absolute alignment with the highest international protocols certified by the World Health Organization (WHO).

In a parallel context, the ministry disclosed ongoing technical and diplomatic coordination with the WHO and relevant international health bodies regarding an international traveler who had visited the UAE. The individual was formally declared infected with the Ebola virus several days after departing UAE territory and arriving in the Republic of Uganda. In this regard, the nation’s centralized digital health registries confirmed that the aforementioned traveler did not visit or check into any health facility, public hospital, or private clinic during his residency in the UAE. This reality significantly streamlined and accelerated the technical assessment and contact tracing procedures instantly initiated by competent teams.

Activation of National Emergency Protocols and Denunciation of Rumors

MoHAP added that designated national response units immediately triggered all authorized health countermeasures embedded within the National Health Security and Readiness Framework. These tasks encompassed holistic epidemiological risk assessments and launching comprehensive contact tracing operations for potential circles of exposure. Meanwhile, they applied mandatory precautionary and isolation guidelines strictly calibrated against relevant national blueprints and global standards. The ministry decisively noted that these extensive screenings and preventative checks yielded zero positive or suspected cases within the UAE. This result underscores the high caliber and efficiency governing the nation’s rapid response and health tracking architectures.

The Ministry of Health and Prevention concluded its brief by heavily stressing the vital importance of sourcing all medical news and developments exclusively from official government channels and accredited institutional platforms. In addition, it warned the public against propagating unverified rumors or circulating misleading reports across digital social networks. The ministry reiterated its absolute commitment to monitoring regional and global epidemiological variables in tandem with international partners. This guarantees the preservation of the country’s high immunologic defense and defensive readiness barriers against transnational health crises.
