Jerusalem, Palestine – The Palestinian government warned of the continued and rapidly deteriorating humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip.

It emphasized that living, health, and humanitarian conditions within the Strip have reached unprecedented levels of hardship.

This comes amidst escalating challenges facing the population and a severe shortage of basic necessities and essential services.

Continued pressure on health and service facilities

The Palestinian government, in an official statement, confirmed that the situation in the Gaza Strip has

become increasingly complex due to the continued pressure on health and service facilities.

It noted that many hospitals and medical centers are facing significant challenges in securing medical supplies and medications.

The statement also emphasized the difficulty in continuing to provide essential services to the population.

The statement added that the Gaza Strip is experiencing dire humanitarian conditions

affecting all aspects of daily life, including water, electricity, and food supplies.

Furthermore, there is increasing pressure on shelters and social services,

exacerbating the humanitarian suffering of the population.

Efforts to provide aid and relief

The Palestinian government stressed the urgent need for the international community

and humanitarian organizations to intensify their efforts to provide aid and relief.

It also emphasized the importance of supporting vital sectors facing increasing pressure within the Gaza Strip.

Furthermore, it called for the protection of civilians and ensuring the continuous delivery of humanitarian aid and essential supplies.

It added that the continued deterioration of the situation could lead to even more serious humanitarian consequences in the coming period.

This warning comes as regional and international efforts continue to monitor developments in the Gaza Strip.

It also comes amid growing calls to strengthen the humanitarian response

and alleviate the crisis affecting the lives of hundreds of thousands of residents.
