Tel Aviv, Israel – The Israeli army and military announced today that its air force intercepted an aerial target that had entered Israeli airspace from Lebanon. The interception was successful, with no injuries or damage reported.

The military confirmed that the target was dealt with according to established air defense protocols.

This action was taken to protect Israeli airspace.

Details of the air interception

The army reported that the aerial target was moving rapidly toward Israel’s northern border.

It was detected in a timely manner by air defense systems.
