Doha, Qatar – The State of Qatar emphasized the importance of all parties involved responding positively to ongoing regional and international mediation efforts. These efforts aim to reach a settlement that ends the conflict between Iran and several other parties. Qatar also stressed that continued military escalation does not serve the stability of the region. Furthermore, this escalation exacerbates existing humanitarian and political crises.
Doha clarified that diplomatic solutions remain the best and most effective option for halting the bloodshed of the conflict. It also called for prioritizing dialogue and making mutual concessions to pave the way for a serious and comprehensive political process. Furthermore, it emphasized that mediation cannot achieve tangible results without genuine will from all parties. There must be a sincere intention to end the current tension.
