Cairo, Egypt – The Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly condemned the attacks targeting the territory of the UAE using missiles and drones.

It affirmed its full solidarity with the UAE and its support for all measures taken to protect its sovereignty and national assets.
In an official statement, the Ministry reiterated its categorical rejection of
any actions that terrorize civilians or destabilize security and stability in the Arabian Gulf region.
It emphasized that these attacks represent a dangerous escalation
that threatens de-escalation efforts and undermines attempts to reduce tensions in the region.
Warning of serious repercussions
The Egypt Foreign Ministry warned of the grave repercussions of these attacks,
considering them a blatant violation of the principles of international law and the UN Charter.
It called for respect for the rules of international legitimacy and the preservation of the region’s security and stability.
In the same context, the UAE Ministry of Defense announced that
its air defense systems had engaged repeated missile and drone attacks originating from Iran.
It explained that four cruise missiles were detected.
Three were intercepted over territorial waters, while the fourth fell into the sea.
The Ministry confirmed that the sounds heard in various parts of the country were
a result of the successful interception of ballistic and cruise missiles and drones.
Precautionary measures and warnings for residents
For its part, the UAE’s National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority reported that air defenses were responding to missile threats.
It also urged residents to remain in safe locations and follow instructions issued by official authorities.
In a related development, the Fujairah Government Media Office announced
a fire in the Fujairah Petroleum Industries area resulting from a drone strike.
Civil Defense teams have begun operations to control the fire, and the situation is being monitored.
