Kuwait – The Kuwait National Guard announced on Sunday the downing of three drones over the past 24 hours, as part of ongoing security efforts to secure responsibility sites and protect vital facilities in the country.
The official spokesperson of the Kuwait National Guard, Brigadier General Dr. Jadaan Fadel, said in a press statement that the task force successfully shot down two unmanned aerial vehicles in addition to one drone, stressing that these operations come ضمن preventive measures to counter any potential threats.
Qualitative Operations to Enhance Security
The statement explained that the success of the Kuwait National Guard in dealing with drones reflects a high level of readiness and efficiency, noting that these operations are part of an integrated plan to enhance security at responsibility sites and prevent any attempts to breach them.
Call to Adhere to Safety Instructions
Brigadier General Dr. Jadaan Fadel urged citizens and residents to adhere to safety and security instructions issued by relevant authorities, emphasizing that community cooperation is a key element in supporting the security system and maintaining stability.
Full Coordination Between Security Agencies
He confirmed that the Kuwait National Guard operates in full coordination and cooperation with the army, police, and fire force, noting that all concerned agencies are on full alert to handle any threats. He stressed that security authorities will deal firmly with anything that could undermine the country’s security, ensuring the protection of national sovereignty and state resources.
