Tel Aviv, Israel – Israeli police dispersed the Tel Aviv anti-war protests using force, in a move that sparked widespread debate. The action comes amid rising internal tensions. Furthermore, it reflects increasing pressure on the Israeli government.

Protesters Dispersed and Arrests Made

Police used force to break up hundreds of demonstrators in Habima Square. A total of 13 people were detained. In addition, organizers described the response as excessive. Therefore, the incident drew criticism from civil groups.

Protests Spread to Haifa

In Haifa, hundreds also took part in a similar protest. Five individuals were detained during the event. On the other hand, authorities warned against large gatherings. As a result, any protest exceeding 50 participants is considered illegal during wartime.

Slogans and Public Criticism

Protesters carried signs opposing the continuation of the war. These demonstrations were organized by civil society groups. Meanwhile, these organizations criticized government policies. However, participants pledged to continue protesting.

Growing Public Opposition

Recent polls show an increase in opposition to the war. The percentage rose from 4% to 11.5%. At the same time, demonstrators expressed frustration over the prolonged conflict.

In conclusion, the Tel Aviv anti-war protests reflect a gradual shift in public opinion. Thus, internal tensions may continue to rise. Finally, these protests could influence future political developments.
