Tel Aviv, Israel – The Israeli army announced on Friday that it had carried out strikes targeting missile production and storage sites. It said the sites were being used by elements affiliated with the Iranian regime. This comes amid an ongoing military escalation in the region.

Targeting military installations

The army explained in a statement that the strikes targeted sites described as vital, used for manufacturing and storing missiles. It also indicated that these facilities posed a direct threat to security, according to its assessment.

Army..Presence of Iranian elements

The army statement indicated that intelligence showed Iranian regime soldiers were present at the targeted sites. However, the military did not provide further details regarding the extent of casualties or material damage resulting from the operation.

Escalation threatens

These strikes come amid escalating tensions between Israel and Iran, raising fears of a wider regional conflict. This comes despite repeated international calls for restraint and de-escalation.
