Tel Aviv, Israel – Israeli emergency services reported that three people were injured in the city of Petah Tikva, north of Tel Aviv, by shrapnel from a rocket attack of undetermined origin. The incident caused widespread panic among local residents.

The emergency services statement indicated that the injuries ranged from minor to moderate, and the injured were transported to nearby hospitals for treatment. Israeli authorities have launched an investigation into the source of the rockets. Security was heightened in the city and surrounding areas.

Eyewitnesses reported hearing explosions and seeing plumes of smoke rising into the sky. Schools and public facilities were temporarily closed in an effort to contain the panic and protect civilians.

These incidents come amid escalating tensions in the region, with Palestinian factions and Israel exchanging threats. This heightened anxiety among civilians and makes the situation highly volatile.
