Tel Aviv, Israel – The Israeli Ministry of Health revealed in a new statistical report issued today, Monday, the extent of the human toll resulting from the recent military escalation, confirming that hospitals received 777 people since the start of the attacks launched by the Islamic Republic of Iran at dawn last Saturday, within what is known as “Operation Lion’s Roar”.
Details of medical cases
According to official data from the Israeli Ministry of Health, 86 injured individuals are still receiving necessary medical care in various departments or emergency rooms (ERs). Regarding the severity of their injuries, the report indicated that four cases are in extremely critical condition, noting a medical paradox: two of these critical cases were not a direct result of the rocket or shrapnel strikes, but rather related to indirect consequences of the attack.
The remaining injuries included:
20 cases described as moderate.
58 cases with minor or stable injuries.
Four individuals are currently undergoing comprehensive medical evaluation to determine the severity of their injuries.
“Shelter route” injuries and psychological stress
The health report indicated that a large number of the injured who flocked to hospitals suffered wounds and fractures as a result of stampedes or falls while rushing to shelters and fortified rooms immediately after the air raid sirens sounded. Medical teams also recorded dozens of cases of acute psychological trauma and anxiety resulting from the intensity of the explosions and missile interceptions over the cities.
