Tehran, Iran – In the most intense military escalation to date, the Iranian capital, Tehran, was subjected to heavy aerial and missile bombardment on Tuesday morning. The strikes targeted security and government buildings in the heart of the city, causing widespread panic and shaking the capital.

The Israeli military spokesperson announced that dozens of fighter jets carried out precision strikes targeting the “Iranian regime’s command complex” in central Tehran.
The statement explained that the targeted complex represents the central nerve center
for decision-making, housing facilities dedicated to managing the nuclear program,
coordinating military operations, and making top-level security decisions.
According to military details, the missiles struck important sovereign targets. These targets included:
The Iranian Presidential Office.
Supreme National Security Council building and its meeting hall.
The Army Officers’ Academy and other government infrastructure facilities.

On the ground, local reports and Iranian media indicated that approximately 12 missiles were launched at the Pardis area on the outskirts of the capital.
Residents told the German Press Agency (dpa) that the explosions were massive.
Windows in modern residential buildings shook violently, forcing families to seek refuge on lower floors.
The Israeli military spokesperson noted that the attack coincided with a high-level meeting of the Islamic Republic’s leaders.
He also criticized the leadership’s focus on “war plans against Israel”
at a time when the Iranian people are suffering from “extremely difficult economic conditions.”
