Abu Dhabi, UAE – Al Wahda Club officially announced on Monday the appointment of Slovenian Darko Milanić as the new head coach of their first football team, succeeding Portuguese José Morais, who recently departed. Teixeira had been serving as interim manager.
The decision by Al Wahda’s management to sign Milanic came in light of the team’s recent poor results, culminating in their elimination from the President’s Cup after a 4-2 defeat to Al Ittihad in the quarter-finals.
