Athens, Greece – The Greek Prime Minister urged the strengthening of European unity in the face of escalating global challenges. He emphasized that the cohesion of the European Union is a strategic imperative that cannot be postponed, particularly in light of successive geopolitical and economic crises.

In official statements, the Prime Minister stressed the importance of deepening cooperation between Europe and the United States. He considered the transatlantic partnership a cornerstone for maintaining international security and stability, and a key supporter of European efforts in defense, energy, and the economy.

He noted that Europe cannot address global challenges alone. He called for coordinating positions within the European Union and unifying visions on major international issues, indicating that this would enhance Europe’s standing as an influential player on the world stage.

The Greek Prime Minister affirmed that his country will continue to play an active role within the European Union to promote policies based on dialogue and joint cooperation. He highlighted the importance of cooperation both within the continent and with international partners, especially the United States.

These statements come at a time of rapid transformation in international relations. This also coincides with increasing European calls to strengthen internal solidarity and build strong partnerships capable of meeting current and future challenges.
