Cairo, Egypt – Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdel-Aty held two telephone conversations, one with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi and the other with US Special Envoy to the Middle East Steve Wittkopf. The calls addressed developments in the region amid escalating regional tensions.
During the two calls, Minister Abdel-Aty stressed the need to intensify efforts to de-escalate tensions and work towards achieving calm.
