Como, Italy – Italian club Como announced the signing of Trevo Chalobah, from English club Chelsea, to strengthen the team’s ranks in preparation for the new season.
Chalobah signed a contract with Como that extends until the summer of 2031, to continue his career with the Italian team in the coming years.
Chalobah said in comments to Como’s official website after completing his transfer: “I am very happy and honored to be here in Como. It is an ambitious project that is constantly evolving, and working again with coach Cesc Fabregas is very special”.
He added: “I can’t wait to put my experience at the service of the team, feel the great atmosphere in the stadium, and connect with the fans. I will give everything I have every day so that we can make history together”.
Como’s signing of Chalobah comes as part of the club’s efforts to strengthen its ranks before competing in the Champions League next season.
Chalobah became Cuomo’s seventh signing of the current summer transfer window, following the acquisitions of Yan Couto, Lucas da Cunha, Mate Liberali, Caio, and Luis Milla, as well as the re-purchase of Nico Paz from Real Madrid.
