Moscow, Russia – Russian authorities announced on Thursday that firefighters had intervened to extinguish a fire

that broke out in an oil tank at the port of Temryuk in the Krasnodar region following a drone attack.

The Krasnodar region’s operational center said in a statement that “

a fire broke out in two oil tanks in the port of Temryuk as a result of a drone attack.”

He added that the fire had spread to an area of 4,000 square meters,

and that firefighting efforts were still underway.

The statement did not mention any human casualties as a result of the attack.

Russia and Ukraine are exchanging attacks on energy infrastructure

usindrones and unmanned naval vessels.

Since February 24, 2022, Russia has been waging a military offensive against its neighbor Ukraine,

Its termination requires Kyiv to abandon its affiliation with Western military entities.

Kyiv considers this an “interference” in its affairs.
