Cairo, Egypt – The Egyptian Ministry of Tourism denied the news that was circulated in a number of Egyptian websites and newspapers and others regarding raising the fees for entry visas to the country.

This is within the framework of legislative amendments to Law No. 175 of 2025 relating to imposing a fee on the buildings of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs,

The Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities confirms that this news is completely false.

No executive decisions have been made regarding increasing visa fees for entry into Egypt.

The decisions taken so far are only to set a maximum limit for visa fees and not to implement an increase in them.

The ministry emphasizes that what is being circulated is merely rumors.

She emphasized that any information relating to entry visas or other matters will be announced.

As usual, through official statements issued by the relevant executive authorities in the country.

The ministry urges all media outlets and social media users to be accurate and communicate effectively.

With the official authorities before publishing any information on this matter.
