Cairo, Egypt – Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, may God protect him,
Tomorrow, Thursday, at the headquarters of the League of Arab States in Cairo,
a ceremony will be held to honor the winners of the fourth session
of the Arab Government Excellence Award.
Which was launched by the UAE government in 2019 in partnership
with the League of Arab States,
This is with the aim of promoting institutional excellence
and stimulating innovation in Arab government work.
The best Arab initiative
The ceremony will be attended by His Excellency Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Gergawi,
Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Award,
And His Excellency Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Secretary General of the League of Arab States,
This is in addition to members of the Board of Trustees
and representatives from a number of Arab governments,
This is to honor the winners in 16 categories,
individual and institutional awards.
With the addition of a new category entitled “Best Arab Initiative to Eliminate Bureaucracy”,
This is to promote the building of agile and flexible governments, free from administrative complexity.
The award operates according to an integrated system based on global best practices in the field of government work.
“For this purpose, government agencies and employees are encouraged to innovate, excel, and be efficient.”
This reflects its positive impact on the quality of life of Arab citizens.”

In its three previous editions, the award has honored 65 winners
from inspiring leaders, institutions and initiatives in Arab countries.

with the workshops and seminars organized by the award
This is to build professional capabilities and transfer advanced expertise.
