Moscow, Russia – Tensions have escalated in the Black Sea after Russia announced that oil tankers had been attacked, which it said were carried out by Ukrainian military forces.
This caused fires to break out on one of the ships
and temporarily disrupted oil shipping.
Russian authorities asserted that these attacks are part of
an ongoing military escalation by Ukraine.
She stressed that it would take all necessary measures to protect
its maritime interests and ensure the safety of navigation in the region.
In contrast, the Ukrainian authorities did not issue
any official comment at the time regarding the Russian accusations.
This comes at a time when international experts are warning that
