Miami, USA – US President Donald Trump announced his decision not to invite South Africa to the G20 leaders’ summit scheduled to be held in Miami, Florida next year.
In a post on his platform “Truth Social,” Trump strongly criticized South Africa. He accused it of “horrific human rights abuses” against the Afrikaner population (white people of European descent), asserting: “They are killing white people and allowing their land to be taken away.”
Immediate suspension of payments and financial support
Trump threatened to immediately halt all financial support and aid to South Africa, citing an incident that occurred during the recent G20 summit in Johannesburg.
Trump said: “South Africa has shown the world that it is not a country worthy of membership in any group. The United States will immediately cease all payments and financial support to it.”
The US president added that South African authorities “refused” to hand over the rotating presidency of the summit to the US representative. That representative attended the closing ceremony in Johannesburg.
Trump welcomes dismissal of Georgia election conspiracy case
In another part of his post on Truth Social, Trump welcomed the decision to dismiss the case that accused him and several other defendants of conspiring to sabotage the 2020 presidential election in Georgia.
Description of the decision: Trump wrote: “Law and justice have prevailed in the great state of Georgia. The corrupt Fannie Willis campaign against me and other great American patriots has been totally rejected.”
Trump described the case as an “illegal, unconstitutional, and anti-American sham orchestrated by corrupt Joe Biden.” He accused Attorney General Vanee Willis of “illegally hiring her boyfriend” to prosecute him.
Trump concluded his post with a pledge to “hold accountable those who have tried to destroy the legal system and the United States.” He also predicted that “the few remaining Democratic witch hunts will soon meet the same embarrassing fate.”
