Kyiv, Ukraine – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has stated that he is not worried about Donald Trump’s return to the White House. He also emphasized that his relationship with the current US president is “normal and good,” based on mutual respect and understanding.
Zelenskyy stated in a press conference that Ukraine is working with the Trump administration on the basis of shared interests and supporting stability in Europe. He explained that his country continues its dialogue with Washington on ways to end the conflict with Russia and ensure regional security.
The Ukrainian president added that what matters to Kyiv is continued US support for the Ukrainian people. He emphasized that cooperation between the two countries transcends individuals and is based on a solid strategic partnership.
He indicated his readiness to cooperate with President Trump on any peace initiatives that could contribute to ending the war and achieving stability. He also expressed his confidence that frank and constructive dialogue is the way to bridge the gap between Washington and Kyiv.
