Pyongyang, North Korea – North Korean leader Kim Jong Un announced that his country has obtained new secret weapons.
But he did not reveal these weapons or their nature, nor did he mention any other details about them.
“We have acquired new secret weapons and made significant progress in defense research and development, which will significantly contribute to further progress in our military strength,” Kim Jong Un said in a letter published by the Korean Central News Agency.
The North Korean leader also said that his country had obtained new secret weapons, but did not provide further details.
He added that North Korea has strengthened its naval power by establishing multi-purpose destroyers.
Kim Jong Un stressed, during his speech before the 13th session of the 14th Supreme People’s Assembly: “Our party and government are also making continuous and rapid progress in strengthening our country’s defense capacity”.
The North Korean leader noted that his country “will not give up anything in exchange for lifting sanctions”.
He said: “The sanctions imposed by hostile forces had an educational impact on us. We have become stronger and developed the ability to withstand and resist, which cannot be suppressed by any pressure”.
On also stressed that any negotiations based on exchanging nuclear concessions in exchange for easing sanctions are “impossible”.
The North Korean leader stressed that “the issue of abandoning nuclear weapons has been closed forever”.
“Our possession of nuclear weapons is a national law, and we have a legal obligation to absolutely protect them,” Kim Jong Un said.
North Korean leader Kim Jong Un on Thursday auditioned for tactical offensive rallies, the Korean Central News Agency reported on Friday.
He stressed the need to apply artificial intelligence technology to it and enhance its operational capabilities.
