Moscow, Russia – Russia and its major ally Belarus began large-scale joint military exercises on Friday. This information was announced by the Russian army.

This comes just days after marches believed to be Russian violated Polish airspace.

“Joint strategic exercises between the Russian and Belarusian armed forces have begun,” the Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement.

These exercises are taking place while the Russian army is making progress on the Ukrainian front. Consequently, this raises great concern among NATO countries.
