Washington, United States – The Television Academy has unveiled the official list of nominees for the 78th Emmy Awards (2026), which are among the most prestigious global awards honoring the best in television.

In the Best Comedy Series category, the competing series are: *Hacks*, *The Bear*, *Abbott Elementary*, *Widow’s Bay*, *Margo’s Got Money Troubles*, *Shrinking*, *Only Murders in the Building*, and *Nobody Wants This*.
Drama Stars in the Acting Race
The acting categories also saw fierce competition among top screen stars; Sterling K. Brown, Gary Oldman, Mark Ruffalo, Rufus Sewell, and Noah Wyle are vying for the award for Best Actor in a Drama Series, while the list of nominees for Best Actress in a Drama Series includes Carrie Coon, Chase Infiniti, Keri Russell, Rhea Seehorn, and Zendaya.
In the comedy category, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Steve Carell, Matthew Rhys, Jason Segel, and Martin Short are competing for the Best Actor award, while Quinta Brunson, Ayo Edebiri, Elle Fanning, Lisa Kudrow, and Jean Smart have been nominated for the Best Actress award.
