Cairo, Egypt – Artist Ahmed El-Awady is currently preparing for a number of new artistic works, most notably the series “The Professor,” which he is preparing to begin filming next July. Through this series, he will embark on his first experience in the world of digital platform dramas, in a new step in which he moves away from the popular drama that formed a large part of his previous successes, heading towards a different type of short drama works.

The series “The Professor” is one of the most anticipated projects for Ahmed Al-Awadi, consisting of only 10 episodes, which gives it an intense and fast-paced character, and it relies on a different dramatic treatment than traditional works.
The series is written by Mahmoud Hamdan, who has collaborated with Al-Awadi on four previous works, including Fahad Al-Batal and Ali Clay, reflecting a state of artistic stability between them and continued confidence in this successful collaboration.
A new collaboration between Al-Awadi and Yara
This project marks the return of collaboration between Ahmed El-Awady and Yara El-Sokkary after their recent success in the series “Ali Clay,” which aired during Ramadan 2026 and garnered widespread reactions on social media, achieving significant audience acclaim both within and outside the Ramadan season.
The Ali Clay series also featured a large number of stars, including Dorra, Mohamed Tharwat, Tarek El Desouky, Entisar, Safwat, Rahma Mohsen, Marwa El Azaly, Essam El Sakka, Mahmoud El Bazawy, and others. Written by Mahmoud Hamdan and directed by Mohamed Abdel Salam, the series contributed to its success and raised expectations for the new collaboration between El Awady and El Sokary.

The preparation for the series “The Professor” comes at a time when Ahmed El-Awady is experiencing remarkable artistic activity, as he is also continuing to film his new movie “Samson and Delilah” with actress Mai Omar, in an action-comedy framework that combines romance and suspense, written by Mahmoud Hamdan and directed by Raouf El-Sayed.
