The artist had previously been transferred to a hospital in France to complete a treatment and rehabilitation program following a health crisis that included severe bleeding in the colon, requiring delicate medical interventions including blood transfusions and interventional radiology procedures to stop the bleeding.
Developments in the patient’s health condition within the intensive care unit
During his treatment, his condition improved relatively before reports emerged of a sudden health relapse in the form of respiratory failure, which necessitated his placement under intensive medical observation in the intensive care unit.
A busy artistic career
Hani Shaker is considered one of the most prominent singers in the Arab world, having presented a long artistic career that includes over 600 songs and 29 albums, most notably: “The Day is Beautiful,” “I Love You,” and “Bring Me Closer to You,” among other works that achieved widespread success. He also pursued acting roles in films such as “When Love Sings” and “This I Love and This I Want,” and participated in numerous plays, in addition to holding the position of head of the Egyptian Musicians Syndicate since 2015.
