Cairo, Egypt – Artist Abu, in collaboration with star Dina El Sherbiny, released a new song titled “Da’a Naqsa” (Missing Minute), marking their first artistic collaboration. The song is available on YouTube and various music platforms.
A humanitarian message behind the work
The song is not limited to the artistic aspect only, but also carries an important humanitarian goal, as it highlights the suffering of children with congenital heart defects, and seeks to raise awareness of the need to support them and give them a chance for a normal and stable life.
Song team
“Daqqa Naqsa” was created by a group of music makers, with Hamid Farouk writing the lyrics, and Tarek Naguib and Sherif Magdy contributing to the melodies alongside Hamid Farouk. Sherif Magdy handled the arrangement, while Faisal Fouad did the mixing and mastering.
The song carries a poignant emotional tone, its lyrics reflecting a human condition intertwined with pain and hope. It highlights the concept of “imperfection” as a symbol of heartache, both emotional and physical, reinforcing the work’s message. This collaboration blends art and message, affirming that music can be an effective tool for raising awareness and providing humanitarian support, not merely entertainment.
El-Sherbiny’s message
In the same video, Dina El Sherbiny said, “Just as you surprised us, we’ll surprise you… Go to YouTube or Anghami and search for ‘Da’a Naqsa’ (Missing Beat), and you’ll see the surprise. We want to remind you that the journey isn’t over yet, and donations are still open, meaning we can bring more heartbeats to more hearts.” This message coincided with the release of the song’s music video on Abu’s official YouTube channel.
