Cairo, Egypt – The production company behind the series “Al Saraya Al Safra” has decided to release it during the off-season, as part of a plan to air shows outside the busy Ramadan season after it was pulled from the Ramadan drama lineup. Resuming filming after a pause
The cast and crew recently returned to the set to complete the remaining scenes after a weeks-long hiatus that disrupted the production schedule. This comes after filming began over two months ago, before production was temporarily halted to finalize some details.
Betting on the off-season show
The makers of “Al Saraya Al Safra” are betting on a strong presence when it is shown outside the Ramadan season, especially given the increasing demand for dramas shown on platforms or outside the traditional race, which gives the work a greater opportunity to focus and be watched away from fierce competition.
Heroes and creators of the work
The series features a cast of stars, most notably Wafaa Amer, Sarah Salama, Amr Abdel Galil, Menna Arafa, Hosni Sheta, and Nasser Seif. It is written by Hussein Mostafa Moharram and directed by Joseph Nabil, and relies on a dramatic plot that combines complex human relationships with suspense.
