Cairo, Egypt – Actor Amr Mohamed Ali passed away on Monday following a battle with illness, after a long-standing health struggle that had left him unable to move freely in recent years and kept him away from the entertainment scene for some time.
Struggling with Multiple Sclerosis
The late artist suffered from complications of multiple sclerosis, which significantly impaired his mobility and led him to withdraw from various artistic projects in recent years, all while his colleagues and fans closely followed his health condition with concern.
A busy artistic career
Amr Mohamed Ali began his artistic career in the mid-1980s and appeared in a number of notable film and television productions throughout his career.
Among his most notable films are *Mr. Karate*, *The Virgin and the Scorpion*, and *The Joy Thief*; he also appeared in several television series, including *Raya and Sakina*, *Eve and the Apple*, *Crazy Tales*, and *Live Your Days*.
One of his most notable roles was the character “Shaqshaq” in the series *Arabesque*, in which he portrayed a workshop apprentice supporting his father and siblings; through this role, he succeeded in leaving a distinctive mark on the audience.
Date and location of the funeral
The funeral of actor Amr Mohamed Ali will be held today, Monday, following the Asr prayer at the Ibn Ata Allah Al-Sakandari Mosque in the Al-Khalifa district, attended by his family, friends, and a number of colleagues from the entertainment industry.
