Washington, USA – The number of self-made billionaires under the age of 40 has seen an unprecedented surge in recent years. This has been driven by the global boom in artificial intelligence technologies.

This would equal the historic record first set in 2021, according to a recent ranking published by the American magazine Forbes.

According to the report, the current ranking includes 40 billionaires under the age of 39. They have succeeded in building their fortunes independently, without relying on direct family inheritance.

taking place in the global economy

This is a clear indication of the profound transformations taking place in the global economy.

A new generation of entrepreneurs is emerging in the fields of technology, software, artificial intelligence, and digital commerce.

Forbes noted the major boom in generative artificial intelligence. Alongside, there is an expansion of software companies, e-commerce platforms, the gaming industry, and digital content.

Which was the decisive factor in accelerating wealth creation among this age group.

Startups founded by young people in their twenties and thirties have transformed into giant entities. These entities are now worth billions of dollars within a few years.

The list is topped by founders of companies working in the fields of artificial intelligence, data analytics, and biotechnology.

the sources of global wealth

In addition to entrepreneurs in the digital entertainment sector, the gaming industry, and smart supply chains.

In the same context, there is a notable presence of founders of Asian companies from China and Southeast Asia. This is along with entrepreneurs from America and Europe.

Accordingly, this ranking, according to the magazine, reflects a fundamental change in the sources of global wealth. Traditional industries are no longer the only path to riches.

Technological innovation and the ability to transform ideas into rapidly scalable digital products have become the most important factor. They are crucial in creating new billionaires.

Forbes asserted that continued global investment in artificial intelligence and advanced technology could lead to this record being broken. This could happen within the next few years.

New names from a younger generation are entering the billionaires club. This emergence is redrawing the map of wealth and economic influence globally.
