The fifth edition of the International Urology Conference (IUCC) 2025 kicks off today at the JW Marriott Marquis Hotel in Dubai, featuring over 80 speakers, more than 30 companies, and over 800 healthcare professionals from across the Middle East.

Under the theme “Beyond Treatment: Encouraging Creativity and Innovation in Therapeutic Technology,” IUCC 2025 focuses on the dynamic integration of artificial intelligence technologies into urology and other medical fields. The event aims to foster dialogue on the interplay between innovation and clinical excellence in fields such as uro-oncology, renal care, men’s health, and robotic-assisted surgery.

In this context, Dr. Yasser Farhat, Co-Chair of the Urology Specialities Forum, Vice President of the Society of International Urology (SIU), Past President of the Urological Association of Asia (UAA), and CEO of the Arab Association of Urology (AAU) in the United Arab Emirates, stated: “The 2025 Urology Specialities Forum is a living testament to our firm belief that patient care must go beyond treating diseases in isolation, but rather requires a comprehensive understanding of each individual case and a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach. Through innovation, constructive dialogue, and the exchange of experiences, the 2025 Urology Specialities Forum contributes to achieving practical outcomes in clinical practice, improving the quality of life for patients, and reducing social and economic burdens. We are proud to see the 2025 Urology Specialities Forum consolidate its position as a dynamic platform that fosters pioneering discussions and supports a spirit of true collaboration.” This year’s Urology Specialty Forum 2025 program includes seven scientific sessions covering topics such as emerging therapies, gynecological urology, and family medicine, in addition to more than five practical workshops led by elite international experts. More than 25 scientific poster presentations highlighting the most prominent recent research discoveries, 14 hours of Continuing Medical Education (CME) accredited by the Dubai Health Authority, interactive educational tools powered by artificial intelligence, virtual and augmented reality applications, and live demonstrations of the latest technologies from leading urology solution providers around the world. Highlighting the importance of the forum, His Excellency Ambassador Dr. Abdul Salam Al Madani, Ambassador of the Mediterranean Parliamentary Assembly to the GCC region and Chairman of INDEX Holding, said: “We are proud to organize the Urology Forum, which embodies our ongoing commitment to promoting dialogue in healthcare and integrating efforts across various disciplines. Dubai has established itself as a leading global destination for hosting specialized medical events, thanks to its advanced infrastructure, innovation-friendly environment, and wise leadership. Events such as the Urology Forum contribute to enriching scientific exchange and supporting the growth of the medical tourism sector, thus strengthening the UAE’s position as a leading destination for excellence in healthcare.” The Urology Specialities Forum is organized by INDEX Conferences and Exhibitions, a member of INDEX Holding, and is supported by a number of leading associations including the Emirates Urological Society (EUS), the Society of International Urology (SIU), the Middle East Society for Sexual Health (MESSM), the Arab Society for Continence (PACS), the Saudi Urological Association (SUA), the Omani Association of Nephrology and Urology (OUS), and the Urological Society of India (USI).
